Adelaide is a beautiful gem of a city tucked away on the under side of the land down under. It's gorgeous inner city cobble street are lined by historic buildings and services by a vintage tram system.

It may have a quieter night life than some of Australia's other metropolises, but that doesn't stop it having a lively salsa scene. There are multiple schools, each of which run popular social nights at locations around the city.

Pachanga Wednesday is a long running salsa social, every Wednesday at Casablabla.

Salsa Connection are a dedicated cross body style salsa school that teach from two inner city and run Zumba fitness classes in two suburban locations. You will find them out social dancing on Thursdays at The bar on Gouger.

There is also La Salsa Dance Studio, Latin Dance Nation and Latino Grooves. All of whom offer salsa classes and weekly events.

Unfortunately, it seems like the Adelaide Salsa Festival has fallen off the Australian Latin Dance schedule. Lets hope it makes a comeback sometime soon.
