Kizomba is on the rise to conquer the world as a romantic music that catches the ear an as incomparably sensual dance that captivates the soul.
Kizomba is the result of an evolution. It describes both, a music style and a dance style. Kizomba is an angolan word that means 'party' . Kizomba comes mainly from Angola, but kizomba dance and music is also performed in other lusophone ( portuguese speaking ) countries such as Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea, etc, is also connected with the zouk music from the Caribean Antilles.
INSTRUCTOR BACKGROUND Agustin Guijarro has an extensive kizomba background. His kizomba knowledge, experience and vision is unique in the ASEAN area. Since 2009 he had the privilege to learn in Madrid, Lisbon, New York, Cape Verde and some other cities from the best kizomba masters as mestre Petchu, Kwenda Lima, Helio Santos, Avelino Chantre, Afrolatin Connection, Eddy Vents, Isabelle & Felicien, Miguel Monteiro, Albir & Sara or Carola and many others that have never been in Asia.
