The NuYorican Co is the dance company of Oscar form NY.

Oscar was born in Cali Colombia, the salsa capital of South America. At the age of 8, Oscar and his family moved to New York City where the influence of world and tropical musical rhythms come together. Music and dance have always been a part of his life: as a young man he learned to play the saxophone and violin.

Oscar teaches and dances many of the popular Caribbean dances like merengue, bachata, cumbia, cha cha cha, and off course SALSA. Oscar has had the luck and privilege to train under some of the best Salsa instructors in the world. He has sharpened his skill as a dancer and choreographer on the dance floor and by working long hours in the studio.
