The Centro Asturiano building stands as a symbol of the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice of the Spanish, Cuban, Italian, German, and Romanian immigrants who helped build this great city of Tampa. Our historic building has a fascinating story to tell about the past, and inspiration to give towards the future.
To step into the grand ballroom is to truly step back in time. You can almost hear the echoes of dance and song still resonating from the roaring twenties. Well over a hundred years of history has passed through this great hall.
With its beautiful hardwood floors, huge majestic windows outlined with stunning, vibrant red curtains, and finely crafted dark wood fixtures, it just takes your breath away. You can’t find this type of attention to detail in today’s modern buildings.
The grand ballroom can seat 400 people and has been utilized for everything from wedding receptions, to a formal banquet hall, to Latin and Swing dancing events, to birthday parties and other special events such as Quinceañeras, Sweet Sixteen, and more.
